We offer classes for every level, and each class is kept to a boutique size so everyone can get the individual attention they need. All classes are first-come, first-served, we highly encourage our students to preregister for their desired class on our online class system.
This class is designed to build core strength and muscle definition, it gives a total body workout that will strengthen the core, arms, and lower body. With consistent practice muscles become firm, toned and lean, and students start to see more definition in the abdominal muscles and back. Pilates classes help improve coordination, alignment, and joint stability, and are vigorous while remaining highly focused on correct alignment.
This classic piece of Pilates equipment provides mobility, resistance, flexibility, and strength training to the student through the use of Pilates mat the moves on rails along with adjustable resistance springs, hand/foot straps, and foot bar. It's advisable for students to have the foundation or basics of Pilates mat prior to enrolling for Pilates Reformer to ensure safety, a complete session workout, and ease of transitions/pacing.
Consultations or private sessions may also be scheduled to gain the experience recommended.
Pilates Foam Roller
This class uses a Pilates foam roller with light weights, 2-3lbs, for a full body workout. Balance lying down on the roller using arms and core, holding yourself up while strengthening and toning your entire body. Helps with balance and stability. This class can be for all levels, there are variations for beginners and more advanced.
This class is a fusion style class with a foundation of Pilates performed to the beat of the music. It has elements of LIIT (low intensity interval training), Pilates and Yoga. Classic Pilates exercises have been adapted to be performed in the center of the room either standing or on the mat. The class is broken down into intervals with cardio fusion intervals a short warm-up and a simple stretches to complete a total body workout. Each interval has a unique focus and goal that incorporates strength, balance, power and flexibility movements. Some of the intervals will use a band/ball/hand weights/rings or multiple props, to emphasize control of the body, assist you to do the exercise correctly and/or challenge your body awareness.
An introductory class for students who are new to Yoga that prepares them for the next level classes. Emphasis is given to the basic alignment of the standing poses for beginners but great for more experienced students that want to further develop basic poses. Instructors moves at a slightly slower pace so students can fully understand the foundations of the practice.
This class will teach students a vigorous flow style of yoga that synchronizes breath with movement. It will offer a balance of strength, flexibility, and endurance to challenge the fitness enthusiast. The instructor will guide you towards a specific posture while incorporating breath work, alignment cues, and when needed adjustments.
This style of Yoga usually involves practicing four to six poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. Restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, supported relaxing inversions and gentle back bends. Restorative Yoga aids in the balancing of the nervous system, reducing stress, ailments, pain and helping the body relax and be calm.
A dynamic, rigorous practice that combines light to heavy weights with the strengthening and lengthening benefits of yoga poses and low intensity pilates intervals. It promotes a strong core, long and lean muscle mass, fat burning, improved circulation as well as flexibility to facilitate supportive balance for entire physique. Pilates & Yoga fusion classes are performed on a yoga mat with bare feet. All movements are low to mid impact, which protects your joints and muscles from pounding of other exercises like running and jumping
This class is a ballet-inspired class that incorporates a ballet barre, light weights and a barre ball. It mixes elements of Pilates, dance toning & conditioning movements, yoga and functional training, and the moves are choreographed to music. The class includes isometric strength training combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements as well as core work to tone, firm and strengthen the muscles of the body
Barre & Stretch
This class gives you two of the best worlds in one workout experience! Using the low impact and balancing flow found in yoga (salutations, standing work, breath work) and the deep toning, conditioning, and cario boosting effects of Barre we cover all the bases. We end with a relaxation to top it all off.
A practice of Yoga that uses the Aerial hammock fabric to help facilitate deeper stretches, balance, compression, assisted inversions, and meditation. This class provides a mindful warm up, standing postures, hip openers, inversions, and technique/ skill work when appropriate to the class sequence, followed by a final relaxation posture inside the hammock fabric.
Aerial Pilates is an extension of the classic Pilates technique using the Aerial Hammock. These classes will allow you to perform Classical and Contemporary Pilates exercises. Get ready to take core-strengthening and targeted muscle conditioning to new heights, while creating more flexibility and mobility in your body.
Meditation is approachable, practical, and beneficial for staying healthy and balanced in today's modern life. Meditation has proven effects of relieving tension, stress, and increasing creativity.Each week we explore meditation techniques, skill beuilding, and a user friendly approach to bring the health benefits of meditation into our busy lives. Varations inlcuded will be guided meditation, visual meditation, sound, movement, yoga nidra, and mantra meditation (plus many more).This weekly class is designed for all levels of practice and physical yoga experience.
This is a one-on-one, 50 minute appointment, with a certified Pilates private teacher. If you are new to Pilates this is where we recommend you start! Taught by owner Christina and other expertlly taught staff during weekday & weekend business hours . Learn how to use all the classical equipment! This is recommended for all individuals, but particularly those with injuries, as there are many modifications for all the different issues and conditions clients may have. Learn the correct breath, form, technical, use of equipment, do's and don'ts, working around an injury as to not make matters worse.
